Grady O’Brien serves as a Legal Assistant for Advocating Opportunity. A graduate of Pitzer College in Claremont, California, Grady holds a degree in History, with a focus on storytelling and communication trends. Her undergraduate experience was defined by her involvement with multiple on and off-campus organizations, establishing a strong bond between herself and the greater Claremont community.
Her experience as an Administrative Consultant with Girls Inc. of NYC cemented her interest in the non-profit sector, supplemented by her volunteer experiences with All Hands and Hearts and both local and national political campaigns.
In her day-to-day life, Grady most enjoys her time spent outdoors. New to Ohio, she is looking forward to exploring the Midwest! She loves playing guitar, trying new recipes, and snuggling with her two cats.
Grady is driven by the joy of seeing clients regain their agency. She is passionate about forging community and connection everywhere she goes, and cannot wait to do so at AO!
